What I love about Humell's work is the mix of human and "nature". It's fun and happy!
I've always loved the California flag. Seeing it today reminds me of a great book I read this year about the native Americans of California. The Ohlone Way.
Right now I'm reading, Seven Deadly Colors. Which is good, but a little more science than I had realized, and not enough color/art/design. If anyone knows of a great color book, please tell.
It's worth a browse if you haven't been in the shop in a while. There's deals, deals, deals to be had. Lots on sale at Beklina. We're making room. I have the ruffle jacket above and I think it's one of my favorite piece from Fall/Winter.

Above, images of the Santa Cruz storm. We've been without power since Friday afternoon.
Thank god for the fireplace, gas stove & water heater. To be honest I do enjoy the forced change for a day or even two, but I'm ready to get the power back....
